Mission Statement:
"At Home Mothers Connection is a non-profit support group for mothers who have chosen to primarily care for their children at home. This includes full-time at-home mothers, mothers who work part-time, mothers with a home-based business or those who work from home in some capacity. Our focus is to support women through the many stages of parenting during their at-home years through meetings, activities, and playgroups. At Home Mothers Connection is not a replacement for medical or psychological care."
At Home Mothers Connection is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. "Contributions or gifts to At Home Mothers Connection are not tax deductable as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes. However, they may be tax deductable under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code."
Membership and Dues:
Members of At Home Mothers Connection pay $25 for a year of membership. This fee helps us to pay for newsletters, insurance, and general administrative costs throughout the year. You may request a brochure which includes a membership form by sending us an email or visiting a meeting.
All members are expected to abide by group policies and playgroup rules to maintain a pleasant group environment. Policies are provided in the member packet which is sent when dues are paid and a membership form is completed. Only paid members may receive a newsletter, attend activities and playgroups. |
